About the position

At Chugach Government Solutions (CGS), the Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in coordinating all aspects of the supply chain, which encompasses planning, sourcing, delivery, and disposal. This position is essential for ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently and effectively, supporting the organization's mission to provide first-class business services. The Supply Chain Manager will stay informed of all technical changes and upgrades to standard Supply Chain Management (SCM) data systems, facilitating training and migration to new information systems as necessary. This role requires a proactive approach to managing supply chain operations, including the development of analytics, systems, and data management capabilities to track key performance indicators (KPIs). The incumbent will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, directing, managing, and evaluating personnel, operations, and budgets for all supply chain activities. This includes managing the operations planning process, which involves supply and demand forecasting, inventory management, and ensuring on-time delivery. The Supply Chain Manager will also develop annual plans that prioritize and allocate resources for labor and materials, contributing to both short- and long-range utilization plans. Additionally, the role involves developing and participating in the supply chain strategy for the organization, identifying and managing risks within the supply chain, and establishing key performance indicators to monitor ongoing performance and drive improvements against set goals. Responsibilities

• Stay informed of all technical changes and upgrades to standard Supply Chain Management (SCM) data systems.
• Facilitate training and migration to new information systems.
• Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the personnel, operations and budget for all supply chain activities.
• Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including performance metrics to track KPIs, and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Manage/coordinate operations planning process including supply/demand forecasting, inventory management, and on-time delivery.
• Develop annual plans with prioritization and resourcing for labor/materials for short- and long-range utilization plans.
• Develop and/or participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organization.
• Identify and manage risk within the supply chain through partnering with the quality control department.
• Establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years AF Materiel Management experience.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
• Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
• Valid Alabama state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
• Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
