About the position

As the Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a key role in designing, planning, and overseeing our supply chain processes. Your main goal will be to create value and build a competitive infrastructure while efficiently managing logistics and aligning supply with demand. You'll also be responsible for measuring performance and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. In this role, you will coordinate supply chain activities, from planning and sourcing to production and delivery, ensuring they match up with demand. You'll develop and maintain a production schedule that fits with our demand forecasts and available resources. Setting up performance metrics will be crucial for evaluating various aspects of our supply chain. You will manage and track detailed inventories across different locations, and analyze current processes to identify ways to enhance efficiency and boost profitability. Creating policies to improve supply chain efficiency, while maintaining quality and safety, will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you'll handle negotiations for raw materials and delivery with suppliers and shipping companies. In collaboration with the product development team, you'll provide valuable insights on supply availability and costs. You will also monitor supplier performance, ensuring they meet our quality and delivery standards, and work to identify and qualify new suppliers as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or five years of supply chain experience if no degree is held.
  • A minimum of five years in a managerial role or a similar position is required.
  • Epicor experience is necessary.
  • APICS certification is necessary.
  • Six Sigma & Lean certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with business systems like ERP & MRP, especially Epicor ERP Kinetic, is important.
  • Strong understanding of operational and financial metrics, inventory management, and master scheduling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation abilities are required.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are important.
  • Solid understanding of company products and logistics is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.
