About the position

The Supply Chain Manager at Air Squared Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, focusing on improving on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and supplier quality. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage the purchasing, warehouse, planning, and supplier quality teams, while collaborating with engineering and operations to develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy that enhances organizational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Purchasing, Warehousing/Logistics, Planning, and Supplier Quality teams.
  • Develop and implement plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations.
  • Spearhead alternative sourcing opportunities to reduce overall material costs.
  • Own material costs and conduct final reviews of the estimating process.
  • Monitor supplier performance and assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement.
  • Oversee the S&OP process to communicate business needs and secure necessary resources.
  • Initiate effective communication with all levels of the organization regarding activities impacting jobs and progress.
  • Act as part of the Change Control team to review engineering and manufacturing changes.
  • Implement, refine, and track supply chain KPIs to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain Management position.
  • 5 years of experience in negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • References from previous employers.
  • Pre-employment drug test, background check, and employment verification through E-Verify.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with ERP software (Global Shop or similar).
  • Experience with ODBC, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Experience in supplier management for a manufacturing company (Automotive is a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • APICS or ISM certification.
  • Experience in IATF.
  • Experience with purchasing and logistics in a complex value chain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
