The Supply Chain Manager for Mativ's Healthcare division will play a pivotal role in overseeing the material requirements procurement, work center planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, safety, and customer account management specifically for the Dallas site. This position is crucial for delivering best practice Supply Chain advantages across Mativ by proactively identifying and executing cost-out and cash optimization opportunities, as well as implementing supply chain best practices and processes. The individual will lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with the supply chain team, customers, commercial sales team, and manufacturing team to align required demand with available capacity. A key performance indicator for this role is to meet or exceed the corporate service level goal of 95% or higher for Customer Level Inventory Performance (CLIP). In addition to managing service levels, the Supply Chain Manager will provide internal and external stakeholders with monthly and annual revenue projections based on open orders, demand forecasts, and planned schedules. The role requires a keen focus on inventory management, balancing the need for available inventory to support customer demand and planned production scheduling while striving to increase inventory turns. The manager will also be responsible for achieving corporate goals related to inventory levels, ensuring they remain at 18% of annual revenue or lower. This includes proactively evaluating expiring inventory to identify opportunities for utilization before expiry and minimizing write-offs. The position also involves leading customer account management activities, ensuring effective communication regarding order fulfillment, shipping schedules, and material availability or capacity challenges. The Supply Chain Manager will drive year-on-year savings in terms of site and company profit and loss, net working capital, and supply chain optimization. Collaboration with other site teams and the Global Category team is essential, utilizing continuous improvement tools to implement sustainable supply chains that ensure continuity of supply and optimize lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), inventory, payment terms, and other key supply chain parameters. The role demands a proactive approach to driving out costs in direct materials, packaging, logistics, and indirect areas while eliminating risks and optimizing opportunities in dealings with external suppliers, all while adhering to Mativ's code of conduct and corporate social responsibility. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete Supply Chain SAP information in line with Group requirements and providing procurement support to site R&D, production, and other key stakeholders in New Product Development (NPD) and product substitutions. The manager will also support the Mativ Dallas Procurement team with tools and guidance, contributing to the Global Procurement team by sharing best practices and a coordinated approach to shared vendors and products.
