About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient operations, reducing costs, and enhancing overall productivity within the organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and implement best practices that align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Purchase components for manufacture, procurement and analysing and sourcing new and alternative vendors
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
• Monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication and coordination throughout the supply chain
• Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met and negotiating favorable terms
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Kaizen to drive process enhancements
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the organization competitive in the market

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Proven experience in supply chain management or a related role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar software
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP ERP or Oracle EBS is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and develop actionable solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices in supply chain operations
• A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving
