About the position

Pulmuone Foods USA Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining all corporate policies related to supply chain matters for import, OEM, and in-house manufactured products. This role involves managing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and capacity planning, which includes planning, forecasting, procurement, sourcing, warehousing, scheduling, and transportation. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with headquarters to ensure that all processes are aligned with corporate objectives and customer needs. In this position, you will manage the shipping and receiving processes for imported products, ensuring that logistics from exporting locations to customer locations are efficient and effective. You will optimize the supply chain by coordinating sales demand with manufacturing, transportation, and warehouse resources to guarantee on-time service to customers while maximizing revenue. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the weekly demand plan based on the latest sales forecasts and customer order trends, utilizing statistical analysis to inform your decisions. The Supply Chain Manager will develop a master supply plan that aligns with the demand plan and reconciles supply restrictions in production and replenishment. You will also analyze overall shortages and overages, taking appropriate actions to minimize risks. Regular updates on S&OP operation results will be required during weekly and monthly meetings with relevant departments, including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Purchasing. You will review orders for accuracy and compliance with company procedures and recommend vendors that provide better quality, service, or pricing. Furthermore, you will develop reports on budgets and control costs within established standards, assisting with ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Division Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain all corporate policies related to supply chain matters for import/OEM/In-house manufactured products.
  • Manage S&OP and capacity planning including planning, forecasting, procurement/sourcing, warehousing, scheduling, and transportation for import/OEM/In-house manufactured products.
  • Manage imported products shipping and receiving process, including logistics from exporting locations to customer locations.
  • Optimize supply chain by coordinating sales demand, manufacturing, transportation, and warehouse resources to guarantee on-time service to customers while maximizing revenue.
  • Manage weekly demand plan based on the latest sales forecast and customer order trend with statistical analysis.
  • Develop master supply plan aligned with demand plan and reconcile supply restrictions in production, replenishment, import, etc.
  • Develop product transfer plan among facilities and one monthly forecast by estimating inventory levels in each facility.
  • Analyze overall shortages and overages and take proper action to minimize risk.
  • Update overall S&OP operation results in weekly/monthly S&OP meeting and with relevant departments including Sales, Marketing, Production, and Purchasing.
  • Review orders for accuracy and compliance with company procedures and recommend vendors that provide better quality, service, or pricing.
  • Develop reports on budgets and control costs within established standards as required; assist with ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Division Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related field.
  • 7+ years in supply chain management in demand planning.
  • Strong skills in project management and analytical skills; experience with forecasting and cost accounting preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to provide direction to the development, proper interpretation and reporting of key performance indicators to measure supply chain performance.
  • Previous work experience with operation and implementation of SCP System such as Kinaxis, JDA, SAP, etc. is preferred but not necessary.
  • Bilingual in Korean preferred.
