About the position

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and continuously improving the plan and execution of material and information flow to meet customer demand, enhance material flow, and optimize inventory. This role involves ensuring compliance with supply chain processes, executing divisional supply chain strategy, and acting as a key member of the site Leadership Team to provide business support and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to budget construction and long-term strategy for the site from a Supply Chain perspective.
• Monitor budget and expenses, managing performance through appropriate supply chain metrics.
• Deploy, manage, monitor, and improve planning processes to capture and communicate customer demand effectively.
• Synchronize external resources and promote participation of all relevant functions in planning processes.
• Coordinate warehouse, transportation, customs, and plant materials flow to ensure timely and complete delivery.
• Ensure inventory control and storage aligns with lean principles and cycle counting standards.
• Develop and manage an integrated logistics network for cost-effective material movement.
• Coordinate plant-related supply chain activities for successful launch/phase out of products.
• Develop and deploy a Continuous Improvement plan and projects to achieve business and divisional supply chain strategy.
• Create a diverse and inclusive team, motivating them with challenging and achievable goals.

Requirements

• Masters/Bachelor's Degree in a related field (technical or business) or equivalent.
• APICS CPIM certified or equivalent.
• Practical experience in Supply Chain function.
• Leadership experience (preferably as a Manager).
• Effective communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of GKN Driveline products and processes.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
