About the position

This position is for a Supply Chain Manager in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain processes and leading a team. The role is 100% remote and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage vendor relationships and global orders. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a background in operations or materials management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a detailed database of orders, ensuring quality in tracking and order management.
  • Participate in the selection process for Commercial CMOs.
  • Prepare requests for proposals and statements of works, ensuring timely delivery to teams ordering devices.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance to negotiate agreements with CMOs as needed.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and document activities related to manufacturing of commercial demo devices.
  • Identify activities or events that may critically affect the availability of demo devices and relay that information to management.
  • Maintain current, accurate, and complete manufacturing files (hard copy & electronic).
  • Review shipment requests for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
  • Ensure PO is received from the team and delivered to the shipping partner.
  • Coordinate and document activities surrounding complaints, excursions, or deviations from sites or vendors.
  • Present metric updates to management and project stakeholders.
  • Lead regularly scheduled meetings with partners and vendors.
  • Participate in audits of third-party suppliers.
  • Handle confidential information and perform duties in strict confidence.
  • Ability to multitask with varying priorities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Materials Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience in Smartsheet or SharePoint is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP is nice to have but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

  • Experience with regulatory submissions.
  • Prior commercial launch experience.
  • Experience with SOX Compliance.
  • Experience with the use and implementation of ERP systems.

Benefits

  • Pay Rate: between $54 - $62/Hr. on W2 based on experience.
