About the position

Little Paper Kids is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Manager of Supply Chain. This role is crucial for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including managing relationships with manufacturers, ensuring inventory accuracy, and controlling logistics and shipping costs. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to drive efficient, cost-effective supply chain strategies that support the company's growth and enhance client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage relationships with all manufacturing partners, ensuring quality, timely deliveries, and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee logistics and supply chain operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve supply chain issues proactively, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
• Evaluate and maintain relationships with shipping providers to optimize costs and reliability.
• Supervise the warehouse team, ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency and conducting regular audits to reduce shrinkage and improve overall quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline the supply chain, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to the CEO on supply chain performance, identifying and implementing improvements as needed.
• Conduct limited travel, including international, to strengthen relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a demonstrated track record of success in managing manufacturers and logistics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and strategic approach to leading supply chain initiatives.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory management systems.
