About the position

We are in search of a Supply Chain Manager to join our client's team located in Albany, Oregon. This position presents a short-term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry. The Supply Chain Manager will be instrumental in driving the supply chain operations, overseeing purchases from suppliers, and managing a team. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence. In this position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the supply chain to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods. You will provide leadership and direction to junior team members to foster productivity and efficiency. Utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will be crucial for managing and streamlining supply chain processes. You will manage the procurement process, including the issuance of purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of parts, ensuring they are built to specification. Additionally, you will implement and manage supply chain strategies to support business growth, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to provide insights on supply chain performance. Fostering a collaborative environment to encourage teamwork and collective problem-solving will be essential. You will also identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain process and ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry regulations in all supply chain processes.

  • Proven experience in KPI Reporting.

  • Expertise in Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to develop and implement Supply chain strategies.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment and promoting teamwork.
