About the position

The Supply Chain Manager will take ownership of the entire supply chain function, driving expansion and improvement in procurement, production planning, and logistics for a complex multi-step assembly operation. This role requires close collaboration with the executive team and peers in engineering, operations, and sales to ensure a seamless supply chain process. The ideal candidate will be a supply chain leader who can study the current supply chain, assess its effectiveness, and implement strategies for improvement as the company prepares for its next growth stage to serve a growing global customer base. In this position, the Supply Chain Manager will oversee the strategic planning and execution of a global sourcing, production planning, and logistics strategy. This includes the launch of new manufacturing or distribution operations in new regions or countries. The manager will be responsible for identifying weaknesses in the current supply chain and putting new processes in place to effect change. This role is not just strategic; it requires a hands-on approach to build, coordinate, collaborate, and execute supply chain operations effectively. The Supply Chain Manager will also drive Lean and Operations Excellence initiatives throughout multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
