Indorama Ventures is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Indovinya team in The Woodlands, TX. This role is pivotal in developing integrated business and supply chain planning solutions that synchronize customer demand, production assets, and working capital. The Supply Chain Manager will focus on driving improvements in customer service levels, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and achieving favorable financial results. The position will oversee Downstream Performance Solutions and Performance Surfactant product lines across five plants in the Americas region, ensuring that Indorama's global Import & Export operations generate maximum value while meeting and exceeding customer expectations at optimal costs. In the demand management aspect, the Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with the Global Demand Manager, Product Management, and Marketing teams to accurately capture demand within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) timeline. This includes evaluating actual demand against forecasts and capacity to determine necessary order commitments or sales allocation plans. The role requires developing strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, finance, logistics, and supply chain execution, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Additionally, the manager will participate in evaluating new customer opportunities and execute risk assessments to ensure delivery performance based on customer segmentation. On the supply side, the manager will oversee Supply/Demand/Inventory management for a 24-month horizon, focusing on a mix of commodity and specialty products for Downstream derivatives. This includes liaising with the Trade Compliance team to ensure all import/export requirements are met and leading a cross-functional Supply Planning routine to balance supply and demand effectively. The role also involves setting global inventory targets, developing inventory strategies, and interfacing with supply chain managers in other regions to maintain a global supply balance. Continuous improvement is a key focus, with the manager expected to implement and maintain projects using Six Sigma, Lean, and best practices. This includes developing and implementing optimal distribution strategies, maintaining planning processes, and evaluating the effectiveness of SAP processes. The manager will also provide leadership and training to a team of 10-15, ensuring that the Downstream Supply Chain organization meets customer needs and develops a talent pipeline within the global operation community.
