About the position

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our leather warehouse facility in Hickory, NC. This role is crucial as it involves overseeing the Warehouse Administration team, creating forecasting reports, and collaborating with our foreign controller/accounting teams in Brazil on reporting and controls within the warehouse. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, while also maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. In this position, you will oversee the warehouse administration team and guide them in their daily functions. You will collaborate closely with the Brazil accounting/finance and controller teams on forecasting, data analysis, and operational costs. It is essential to control and report all expenses that occur within the warehouse operations, ensuring that the financial aspects are managed effectively. Additionally, you will create and control the maintenance plan for the warehouse, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will need to be responsive to changes in procurement and adjust daily reporting accordingly. It is also important to keep team members updated on policies and procedures within the warehouse. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, and flexibility in adapting to the needs of the business is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the warehouse administration team and guide them in their daily functions
• Collaborate with Brazil accounting/finance and controller teams on forecasting, data analysis, and operational costs
• Control and report all expenses that occur within the warehouse operations
• Create and control the maintenance plan for the warehouse
• Be responsive to changes in procurement, adjusting daily reporting accordingly
• Ensure team members are kept up to date on policies and procedures within the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain, warehouse management, and/or inventory controls required
• Experience in Microsoft Excel required
• Experience in SAP required
• Experience in warehouse ERP or inventory tracking preferred
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and pivot when emergent needs arise
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written
• Aptitude for data and reporting
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
