About the position

The Supply Chain Manager at The Judge Group Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the supply chain and logistics activities within the organization. This position is based in Joplin, Missouri, and offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 annually. The Supply Chain Manager will manage customer-supplied raw materials, joint production, and logistics planning, ensuring seamless integration with customer ERP systems. Compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements for inbound and outbound materials is critical, including adherence to standards set by DOT, RDOT, IATA, IMDG, RC, and Trade Compliance. In addition to logistics management, the Supply Chain Manager will mentor and coach both direct and indirect reports, fostering a culture of change management and continuous improvement. This role is part of the management team, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational oversight. The manager will also oversee logistics activities for various product lines, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations. On the procurement side, the Supply Chain Manager will direct and maintain SAP-based MRO, raw material, and purchased services, including tolling and logistics. Developing risk management strategies related to supply security, quality, inventory management, and cost control is essential. The manager will set annual budgets, support business planning, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of supply chain operations. Additionally, the role involves supporting corporate sustainability programs through relevant data reporting and maintaining necessary regulatory permits for supply chain and procurement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer-supplied raw materials, joint production, and logistics planning with necessary interfaces to customer ERP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements for inbound and outbound materials, including traded or tolled materials.
  • Mentor and coach direct and indirect reports to support change management and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a member of the management team.
  • Oversee logistics activities for CM, SA, and AC.
  • Responsible for role-based budgeting and business planning.
  • Direct and maintain SAP-based MRO, raw material, and purchased services, including tolling and logistics.
  • Develop risk management strategies related to supply security, quality, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Set annual budgets and support business planning.
  • Monitor KPIs and effectiveness measures.
  • Support corporate sustainability programs through relevant data reporting.
  • Maintain necessary regulatory permits for supply chain and procurement materials and activities.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. degree.
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Background in business development, with demonstrated knowledge of ERP and digital planning systems (preferably a Super User in SAP).
  • Established track record in developing supply chain and logistics systems.
  • Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with customers.
  • Achievements in leadership and employee development.
  • Working knowledge of US and international compliance regulations.
