About the position

Wood Group is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage a deployed supply chain project team for Ineos's Palmetto project. This role involves overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, including materials management, procurement, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and client contract requirements. The position may allow for remote work with necessary business trips to Greenville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct supply chain activities for the project, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Accountable for the successful setup and delivery of all project supply chain processes and activities.
• Prepare and issue the project-specific procurement execution plan and contracting strategy.
• Establish and manage the project/procurement status report (PSR) and chair regular PSR meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensure that all supply chain activities align with the project execution plan and budget.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and manage corrective actions as needed.
• Promote safe working practices and demonstrate safety leadership.
• Implement performance management and development plans for the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business studies, law, engineering, supply chain, or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of supply chain experience with progression to a management position.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract agreements and complex tactical procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Nice-to-haves

• CIPS qualified or industry equivalent certification.
• Experience in audit and assurance processes.
• Proven ability to lead complex tender activities.
