About the position

The Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate) at Boeing plays a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes and ensuring effective coordination among various departments. This position is focused on applying supply chain methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's mission of innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
  • Coordinates with customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers.
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.
  • Coordinates part number attributes and verifies the released engineering BOM in the material planning system.
  • Releases and maintains orders, documenting and resolving order delinquencies.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues and applies developed solutions to inventory plans.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.
  • Creates schedules for products and services and coordinates process improvements.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • 2 years' experience working with supply chain material management functions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning system
  • Experience with US military supply systems
  • Experience reading and understanding technical publications including drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
