About the position

This position is responsible for preparing the production monthly build schedules, reporting progress against the schedule, and monitoring material inventory levels to ensure that manufacturing schedules and customer deliveries are fulfilled as planned on responsible commercial products. The role involves processing all commercial receiving, inventory, and shipping transactions for all Antares commercial products to maintain accurate and timely inventory records. The successful candidate will prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly production build plans based on sales and customer forecasts for responsible commercial products. Additionally, they will process and transact all material receiving, inventory, and shipping transactions as required to support all commercial products, ensuring timely and accurate commercial inventory records. The position requires monitoring and tracking the progress of work-in-process inventory, both internally and externally, on responsible commercial products. Coordination with the Production Supervisor/Lead is essential to ensure that all levels of materials are monitored and tracked to meet schedules and customer deliveries. The candidate will also prepare required inventory, material, and supply purchase orders to support the manufacturing build plans and schedules. Issuing internal production shop orders to meet production schedules and customer deliveries is another critical responsibility. The role includes performing all duties in compliance with Antares internal procedures and summarizing key performance indicator metrics to assist in preparing for and facilitating S&OP meetings on responsible commercial products. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly production build plans based on sales/customer forecasts for responsible commercial products.
• Process and transact all material receiving/inventory/shipping transactions as required to support all commercial products and maintain timely and accurate commercial inventory records.
• Monitor and track progress of work-in-process inventory on responsible commercial products.
• Coordinate activities with the Production Supervisor/Lead as applicable.
• Monitor and track all levels of materials to ensure schedules and customer deliveries are met on responsible commercial products.
• Prepare required inventory/material/supply purchase orders to support manufacturing build plans/schedules.
• Plan and issue required internal production shop orders to meet production schedules and customer deliveries.
• Perform all duties in compliance with Antares internal procedures.
• Summarize and maintain key performance indicator metrics to assist in preparing for/facilitating S&OP meetings on responsible commercial products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years in supply chain and/or production planning.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Power BI / Power Query / Tableau.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Eager to learn new skills and interest in expanding current knowledge base.
• Excellent listening, communication, and writing skills.
• Strong team building and interpersonal skills.
• Excited about challenges and embraces change.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of generating KPI's, inventory metrics, and forecast summaries.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and logic, Epicor a plus.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite, Excel and Word.
• Ability to effectively interact with people at various levels within the organization, suppliers, and customers.
• Ability to discuss and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
