About the position

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Supply Chain Operations department, responsible for overseeing the daily activities of corporate supply chain operations. This position requires a leader who can set a positive tone and model exemplary leadership behavior, ensuring that teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in alignment with departmental and organizational goals. The manager will be accountable for operational performance, driving efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment among team members. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of supply chain processes and ensuring that the organization meets its operational objectives effectively. In this capacity, the Supply Chain Operations Manager will engage in strategic planning and execution of supply chain initiatives, focusing on optimizing inventory management and distribution processes. The manager will also be responsible for mentoring and developing team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and implementing best practices in supply chain management. The role requires a strong understanding of healthcare supply chain dynamics and the ability to navigate complex operational challenges while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities of the supply chain corporate operations.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of work experience in health care supply chain.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in distribution and inventory management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of supply chain management processes.
  • Experience in operational re-design and improvement leveraging software.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer software and database queries in a Windows environment (Excel, Work, MS Projects, PowerPoint, PS Query, etc.).
  • Strong team leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.
