Responsibilities

• Develop working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Assist with account management by maintaining customer profiles and service needs.
• Address customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, and services.
• Interface with carriers to understand requirements and track shipments.
• Manage various documents for accuracy and operational knowledge.
• Update operational/customer data in software systems and applications.
• Utilize databases to locate and verify operational information.
• Track orders and assist with tracing shipments as needed.
• Create and process invoices, ensuring operational accuracy.
• Assist with running and summarizing operational reports.
• Prepare information required for quotes and address potential services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED.
• Five years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment.
• Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-specific software applications.
• Ability to prepare basic reports and operational information.
• Understanding of providers, carriers, and services in supply chain environments.
