Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/purchasing environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Competence in basic math functions.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data, establish clear priorities quickly, and drive the decision-making process.
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and administrative skills.
• Experience in data entry and MS Office (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong Excel skills.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Process orders from customers as they move from development to production and identify requirements for fulfillment.
• Manage inventory by assessing on-hand materials and new requirements.
• Issue purchase orders and communicate regularly with suppliers via phone and email.
• Provide schedulers with expected arrival dates for materials and advise of any potential delays.
• Communicate with customer service team members to ensure they have all necessary information to keep customers updated on order progress.
• Release orders to manufacturing and production teams as soon as possible.
• Perform additional support duties within the supply chain.
• Receive cross-training in all purchasing department functions.
