About the position

The Supply Chain Planner role is focused on supporting the ELOA Base Lab network by managing replenishment parameters and improving inventory management. The position aims to enhance customer service by minimizing inventory shortages through effective analysis and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring service level to customers by updating labs replenishment to optimal levels.
  • Working closely with upstream planning and forecast teams to align on downstream lab demand.
  • Conducting supply risk reviews to maintain service by leveraging Essilor availability and product portfolio.
  • Placing manual orders and coordinating with DC and Planning teams to expedite when necessary.
  • Managing material substitution and collaborating with routing teams to ensure lens availability aligns with routing strategy.
  • Creating new stocking orders for new product introductions and setting system replenishment parameters.
  • Coordinating with upstream/downstream teams and planning for product discontinuation to limit excess inventory.
  • Working with obsolescence management and labs to reduce overall obsolescence exposure.
  • Monitoring essential KPIs and developing corrective actions when outside established boundaries.
  • Collaborating with lab GMs and RODs on process improvement action plans based on inventory analysis.
  • Maximizing the use of Essilor produced lenses through analysis of consumption and product availability.
  • Monitoring and analyzing short ordering and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Teaming with inventory finance teams to promote best practices on cycle counts and limit manual transactions to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborating with systems team to enhance or troubleshoot order flow related processes.
  • Participating in Supply Chain projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Inventory/Production Planning functions.
  • 0-3 years of experience in DRP/MRP systems.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills in pivot tables, complex functions, and formulas for detailed analysis.
