About the position

The Supply Chain Planning Manager will oversee production planning and data analysis within a manufacturing environment. This role is focused on devising and executing supply chain strategies that align production with demand forecasts, ensuring efficient operations and optimal inventory management. The position requires collaboration with various departments to enhance supply chain performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Devise and execute supply chain strategies to align production planning with demand forecasts and company objectives
• Supervise procurement operations to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging for meeting production schedules
• Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics departments to identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand
• Coordinate warehouse activities to facilitate seamless shipping, receiving, and material handling
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and develop effective solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Establish and maintain solid relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of quality and services
• Lead cross-functional meetings to communicate supply chain strategies and foster alignment across departments

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is a must
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning, supply planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing setting
• Thorough understanding of supply chain principles, encompassing scheduling, supply analysis, and inventory control
• Proficient in utilizing ERP systems, with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and cost reduction
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams
• Proven leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional supply chain teams
