About the position

The IT Solution Owner (ITSO) role at MilliporeSigma is designed for a highly motivated professional with significant leadership experience in technology roles, particularly in ERP systems. This pivotal position focuses on supply chain planning and regulatory solutions ERP tools, responsible for leading and designing the technical solution that aligns legacy processes with new global template ambitions. The ITSO will lead a team of 5+ IT Solution Experts, driving technical transformation and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation within the ERP program. This position demands strategic vision and technical expertise, as well as exceptional communication skills to engage with senior leaders across IT and business, driving change and securing leadership buy-in for strategic initiatives. The role is accountable for the design, build, and deployment of Supply Chain Planning and regulatory solutions across Life Sciences, ensuring that the technical transformation aligns legacy processes and systems with new global template ambitions. The ITSO will guide senior leaders across IT and business to manage the implementation process, report progress, and secure leadership buy-in.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for design, build & deployment of Supply Chain Planning & regulatory solutions across Life Sciences.
• Drives technical transformation to align legacy Supply Chain Planning & regulatory processes and systems with new global template ambitions.
• Accountable for integration & alignment with key stakeholders ensuring end-to-end solutions.
• Guides senior leaders across IT & business to manage implementation process, report progress, & secure leadership buy-in.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 10+ years of experience in technology roles (ideally ERP-related).
• Proven track record in successful ERP implementation projects, particularly with an IT/Tech focus.
• Demonstrated track record of working with external implementation partners.
• Proven track record of leading agile development and build activities.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA cloud-based environment.
• Deep understanding of SAP best practices in the Supply Chain Planning & regulatory process domain.
• Expertise in managing ERP systems & integrating data within them.
• Proficient in the SAP technology stack.
• Knowledge of agile software development process.
• Familiarity with process architecture requirements in the Life Sciences industry (preferably).
• Ability to manage a project of substantial size & complexity & to drive change management towards technical & Business teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders (within IT, but also in business) & translate guidance into clear next steps.
• Ability to lead, steer and motivate a diverse technology team in a Matrix organization context.
