About the position

The Supply Chain Process Engineer plays a crucial role in shaping the Distribution and Logistics network for the Customer Channels Group (CCG) at Thermo Fisher. This position focuses on process improvement, analytics, and collaboration with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The engineer will lead a team of Process Engineers and work closely with senior management to implement strategic changes and drive development within the supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Distribution, Transportation, Finance, IT, Supply Planning, and Engineering to deploy new process changes and templates.
  • Develop and govern Distribution process analytics dashboards and reporting.
  • Set operational objectives and lead the implementation of process changes across Transportation, Distribution, and the end-to-end Supply Chain.
  • Influence and collaborate with key partners across CCG Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and Sales.
  • Support supply chain projects aimed at enhancing customer experience and improving delivery.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for improving supply chain strategies, policies, and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in an Enterprise System, such as SAP, JDE, or another major ERP system.
  • Ability to form multi-functional partnerships across different areas of the organization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
