About the position

Clarios is seeking motivated undergraduates for its Supply Chain/Procurement Development Rotational Program, designed to provide early-career professionals with diverse business experience across various Supply Chain and Procurement functions. This 36-month program includes six to twelve-month rotations in key functional areas, allowing participants to develop technical and leadership skills while gaining a unique perspective on value creation within the business. The program aims to build future leaders and enhance the company's capabilities in critical areas of Supply Chain management and Procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the US/CAN Supply Chain and US/CAN Procurement Functions.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize Procurement processes.
  • Participating in supplier negotiations and contract management.
  • Analyzing supply chain data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.
  • Coordinating logistics and inventory management activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting on Supply Chain performance metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Contributing to cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Supply Chain & Procurement reports and presentations.
  • Participating in Supply Chain risk management activities and implementation of new Supply Chain technologies.
  • Engaging in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Providing support for special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration or another quantitative field is required.
  • Previous internship experience in Supply Chain or Procurement related work in a corporate environment required.
  • Microsoft Office proficient, familiarity with Teams using video and audio technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice-to-haves

  • An understanding of Supply Chain principles and practices as it relates to procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations.
  • 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA.
