About the position

The Supply Chain Program Manager for Fasteners at Tesla is responsible for managing the development and implementation of supply chain components and materials related to vehicle interiors across various automobile programs. This role requires strong collaboration with engineering and purchasing teams to ensure optimal supply assurance, quality, and delivery performance. The position demands flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, reporting to the Group Manager while supporting multiple engineering and purchasing groups.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage fastener development and joint design programs, ensuring cross-functional alignment and visibility.
  • Define and manage design validation programs, ensuring milestones are consistently met and outputs are accurately reported.
  • Charter, plan, and drive technology roadmap projects for future engineering programs.
  • Track, visualize, and present project data to stakeholders and management teams.
  • Structure timelines and drive completion of activities related to concern resolution for new program launches.
  • Analyze design and validation requirements for efficient resource allocation.
  • Represent the Supply Chain team in risk mitigation and escalation discussions with the Executive team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in program management within automotive, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills, with a bias for action and resource management ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives and drive process improvement.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
