About the position

The Supply Chain Project Coordinator Intern will support the US Local Market Activity (LMA) team at tms, focusing on providing packaging solutions for McDonald's restaurants across the US. This internship, lasting 8-12 months, involves coordinating and executing various supply chain projects, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project tasks are tracked and completed on time.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross functional teams to monitor and track tasks related to supply chain projects
• Maintain detailed meeting notes and track follow-up tasks with team members
• Raise risks when tasks are off track and may impact project delivery dates
• Review data provided by other teams for completeness and identify if requested information is missing
• Create basic analyses of inventory and shipments
• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed

Requirements

• 3rd year + (or recent graduate) in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (previous work terms or class projects)
• Preference for any experience in manufacturing, distribution, supply chain or development (previous work terms or class projects)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Ability to identify risks and propose solutions when tasks are off track
• Thoroughness in reviewing data for completeness and accuracy
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively

Nice-to-haves

• Basic Supply Chain Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain concepts and processes
• Ability to create clear and concise reports on project progress and data analyses
