About the position

The Supply Chain Project Manager at Clorox is responsible for leading supply chain projects within the Kingsford/Brita Business Unit. This role involves providing end-to-end supply chain expertise, facilitating communication across various functions, and ensuring successful project activation and execution. The manager will work closely with cross-functional partners to align supply chain objectives with business goals, while also identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end supply chain expertise and leadership within a Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
  • Act as the primary voice of all Supply Chain functions within the project team.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination of Supply Chain functional activities outside of team meetings.
  • Develop and recommend an end-to-end supply chain execution strategy that meets project objectives.
  • Accountable for the successful activation of projects through start of ship and technical transfer.
  • Ensure alignment between SBU and Supply Chain functional objectives.
  • Facilitate functional project reviews and communication plans to impacted supply chain sites.
  • Handle Supply Chain implementation of product change concepts.
  • Support the Supply Chain feasibility process for chartered work.
  • Ensure outstanding supply execution for new projects and promotions.
  • Act as project manager for assigned projects based on size and scope.
  • Identify and recommend cost savings opportunities for assigned products/SBU.
  • Collaborate with business team members to develop personal capability beyond functional Supply Chain authority.
  • Build partnerships across Supply Chain sub-functions to deliver breakthrough results.
  • Work with Supply Chain Integration resources to synchronize project status and priorities.
  • Design and implement best practice business processes for effective use of Supply Chain Solutions resources.
  • Act as a role model to ensure effective team dynamics.

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain management and project management.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
  • Experience in managing product change initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the consumer goods industry.
