About the position

Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, flexible Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks. You will be responsible for leading teams on New Product Introduction, Operations, and Technology projects, which includes developing new products and setting up manufacturing lines globally. This position requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with the company's goals and objectives. As a Project Manager, you will define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities. You will also define resource requirements and manage resource availability and allocation effectively. A critical part of your role will be to outline the budget based on project requirements and track costs to ensure the project is delivered on budget. You will prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key milestones, workstreams, and activities, managing the delivery of the project according to this plan. In addition, you will track project progress and provide regular reports on project status to the project team and stakeholders. You will need to manage and adjust for changes in project scope, schedule, or budget, identifying and mitigating potential risks along the way. Building and maintaining relationships and communication with team members and stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment including leading cross-functional projects and ISO, TS16949, and/or IATF quality systems.
  • In lieu of bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience, master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering plus 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment including leading cross-functional projects and ISO, TS16949, and/or IATF quality systems.
