About the position

The Supply Chain Service Manager at Avis Budget Group is responsible for overseeing the performance of preventative maintenance and service repair of fleet vehicles. This role aims to maximize fleet utilization and profitability while managing a team to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall performance of the preventative maintenance and service repair of fleet vehicles.
• Develops, implements, and communicates operating plans to maximize fleet utilization.
• Manages performance of team members against business plans by setting and monitoring goals for key performance indicators.
• Assesses out of service area daily to establish workload and holds pre-shift meetings with team members.
• Ensures all repair orders are completed and processed according to established guidelines.
• Ensures warranty submissions meet business plans and required documentation is submitted.
• Ensures timely completion of recalls, preventative maintenance, and quality of vehicle repairs.
• Forecasts, budgets, and manages key financial drivers including S&W per day and warranty recovery.
• Oversees the ordering of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Manages vendor relationships and workload assignments to meet service levels and quality standards.
• Oversees the repair and maintenance of all buses at bussing locations.
• Manages all areas of the employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Implements HR policies and practices consistently and fairly in accordance with company policies.
• Provides a safe work environment by ensuring all safety policies are followed.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; 2-4 year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a related field (rental car, automotive shop, or service-oriented field).
• Valid driver's license and successful background check.
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment, including early mornings, nights, or weekends.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and oversee multiple work areas.
