About The Position

The Americold Summer Internship Experience is a 12-week, full-time, paid internship designed for students to gain valuable knowledge in the Supply Chain industry. Interns will work on challenging projects, collaborate with organizational leaders, and contribute to the company's operations while enhancing their personal and professional growth.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university for an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Coursework/projects in supply chain network design, transportation optimization, inventory management.
• Projects/experience with supply chain related data analytics.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI/Tableau and SQL required.
• Knowledge of CPLEX, Coupa Supply Chain Modeler (Llamasoft) for modeling is preferred.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sr Analyst and Manager within the supply chain solutions team on target projects in supply chain design and transportation optimization.
• Perform various tasks while learning about different business functions, network optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use advanced data mining, analysis, and visualization skills to gain insights that will uncover business opportunities and guide strategic decisions.
• Provide analytical support in developing transportation solutions for customers interested in Americold's transportation program.
• Support the design/build of technical processes to address business issues in transportation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of network modeling analytical tools.
