About the position

As a Supply Chain Solutions Tools Specialist at Hanon Systems, you will play a pivotal role in the deployment and ongoing support of our Supply Chain and Manufacturing Custom Tools solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide innovative solutions that streamline operations and support our business goals. This includes configuration, end-user support and training, troubleshooting issues, testing, and documentation. You will leverage a combination of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate technology into our clients' business environments, ultimately achieving significant business results. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, management, and deployment of Hanon's custom technical solutions, which are developed on a C/C++ framework and integrate with ERP systems and custom databases. Your efforts will help realize end-to-end value across various business functions. You will enable the realization of our strategic direction by implementing standard, leading practice global template-based solutions while adhering to established governance on design principles, solution development, and deployment. You will coordinate with cross-functional work-stream leads, system integrators, external suppliers, and clients' functional business leaders to drive solution design, deployment, and overall governance of the global solution. Your participation in strategic planning and budgeting activities for custom solutions, as well as SAP corporate and regional SAP solutions and platforms, will be crucial. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a five-year application roadmap for your assigned function, ensuring it aligns with current and future business needs, industry standards, and ERP best practices. Your role will also involve creating and owning the Hanon Systems strategic Supply Chain solution plan globally, driving the completion of all deliverables. You will develop and maintain guidelines, principles, policies, standards, reference models, and best practices for all matters related to SAP/ERP and program-related processes and solution integration. Enforcing governance of the standards and bringing visibility to customizations and deviations will be part of your responsibilities. You will partner with global business work stream leads to serve as the custodian of the finance solution template, leading the development of technical design and solutions, and facilitating design sessions among stakeholders. Moreover, you will maintain a repository of processes and solution documentation/assets that encompass the global solution, ensuring clarity on in-scope solutions. Your accountability for 100% adherence to clients' methodology and SOX controls will be paramount. You will collaborate with different work streams and project team members to resolve conflicts, issues, and deviations, driving them to resolution. Leading, managing, and motivating a team of experienced functional and technical analysts will also be a key aspect of your role, as will fostering a culture of continuous innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development, management, and deployment of Hanon's custom technical solutions developed on C/C++ framework integrating ERP systems and Custom databases.
  • Enable the realization of the strategic direction by implementing standard, leading practice global template-based solutions and following established governance on design principles, solution development, and deployment.
  • Responsible for successful global template technical solution implementation meeting full value realization across the business functions of Supply Chain and inter-related processes.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional work-stream leads, System Integrator(s), external suppliers, and Clients functional business leaders to drive solution design, deployment, and overall governance of the global solution.
  • Participates in strategic planning and budgeting activities for Custom Solutions as well as SAP Corporate and regional SAP solutions and platforms on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and maintain a 5-year application roadmap for assigned function, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, ERP best practices and solution roadmap.
  • Create and own the Hanon Systems strategic Supply Chain solution plan globally and drive completion of all deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines, principles, policies, standards, reference models, and best practices for all matters related to SAP/ERP & program related processes and solution integration.
  • Enforce governance of the standards and bring visibility to customizations and deviations.
  • Drive harmonized industry-best practice process across all business functions and geographies allowing minor configurations with no customizations.
  • Partnering with the global business work stream leads, serve as the custodian of the finance solution template.
  • Lead the development of technical design/solution and facilitate design sessions amongst business, IS stakeholders/leaders & SME(s).
  • Establish and maintain a repository of processes and solution documentation/assets that encompasses the global solution clearly articulating in-scope solutions.
  • Maintain a solution guide that articulates supported languages, currencies, and various other rules that make up the overall Solution.
  • Responsible and accountable for 100% adherence to Clients methodology and SOX controls.
  • Collaborate within the different work streams and project team members to resolve conflicts, issues, and deviations and drive them to resolution.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of experienced functional and technical analysts.
  • Gather requirements, design, implement, modify, troubleshoot, test, and debug applications.
  • Participate in design meetings and interact with developers to work towards a common solution.
  • Maintain regular contact with internal customers to anticipate, identify, and respond to their needs and expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of Custom Supply Chain tools/Manufacturing Application support development experience with a proven record of accomplishment as a team member of large and complex business-system transformation programs.
  • Experience in multi-country implementations and engagement required.
  • Hands-on experience with designing, configuring, and implementing Database (Oracle/SQL) linked Custom C/C++ based solutions that integrate/interface with SAP ERP, covering business processes in Manufacturing and Supply Chain areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead culturally diverse teams including offshore models.
  • Innovative mindset and experience with agile, prototyping, and rapid development models.
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, analytical, change management, and communication skills.
  • Versatility and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent understanding of business functional areas and 'end to end' global business processes & sub-processes.
  • Fluent in written and verbal business English.
  • Moderate project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively translate business needs into requirements.
