About the position

The Supply Chain Specialist at Red Monkey Foods plays a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain team by managing new projects, qualifying packaging materials, and overseeing the purchasing of raw materials. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations and effective communication of key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supply Chain team members on new projects to identify materials and qualify suppliers.
• Lead the qualification of new packaging materials and onboard new suppliers in collaboration with Commercialization, Operations, and Quality teams.
• Manage routine purchases of raw materials and packaging materials using RMF MRP and Business System (ProcessPro).
• Support the import process of raw materials by working with CH Robinson and suppliers.
• Run routine inventory reports and provide visibility on inventory levels to the Supply Chain team.
• Develop and communicate KPIs to the Supply Chain team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the CPG industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain software (e.g., Kinaxis, JDA).
• Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).
• Knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
