About the position

The Supply Chain Strategy and Capture Manager will serve as the corporate lead for all supply chain-related proposal inputs, working closely with individual programs and capture teams. This role involves significant interaction with senior executive staff and participation in internal proposal reviews, focusing on programs with substantial material content. The manager will oversee the Supply Chain Risk Management program and contribute to Small Business Subcontracting plans, ensuring compliance with CACI policies and government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Supply Chain Teaming Arrangements and Source Selection, including MOUs, NDAs, and TAs.
  • Develop procurement strategies such as OEM vs. VAR and make/buy analysis.
  • Conduct supply chain-related analysis and provide risk and opportunity inputs to program teams.
  • Evaluate program material costs, including long lead items and counterfeit parts.
  • Develop and implement pre-award handoff planning for successful program execution.
  • Monitor and develop the CACI Supply Chain Risk Management Plan in coordination with the VP Risk Management.
  • Work with the Corporate Small Business office to implement SB plans that meet program goals.
  • Provide competitive COTS hardware/software pricing as needed.
  • Provide status updates and briefings to Supply Chain leadership on proposal status and support needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Purchasing, Operations Management, Engineering, General Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
  • Experience with Federal Government proposals and understanding of the proposal process.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or supporting procurement for manufacturing programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) is required.
  • Strong understanding of various contract types, including Cost Reimbursable and Firm Fixed Price.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
