About the position

The Supply Chain Support role at Crown Equipment Corporation involves assisting with compliance and regulatory activities related to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazmat. The position focuses on maintaining supply chain compliance standards, conducting internal audits, and providing customer service support. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and emphasizes the importance of organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support program activities centered around Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazmat.
  • Process driver qualification information, DOT permits and registrations, and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Review Hazmat training completion records and create certificates.
  • Inspect Hazmat parts and maintain Hazmat information in the current ERP system.
  • Maintain Supply Chain compliance standards information for REACH, RoHS, WEE, Conflict Minerals, U.S. EPA, FCC, etc.
  • Coordinate solicitation for regulatory information of compliance standards from vendors and maintain certification records.
  • Schedule and conduct internal audits of Bills of Ladings and Multi-Modal Dangerous Goods Forms, Hazmat training records, and DOT procedures.
  • Compile results of audits and report any anomalies, ensuring modifications to policies and procedures are completed and filed.
  • Research industry compliance standards and regulations to support the company's supply chain compliance program.
  • Assist in the development and administration of supply chain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate training to address Hazmat, DOT, and other supply chain initiatives.
  • Promptly respond to inquiries or requests in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years related experience in supply chain or compliance roles.
  • Associate Degree in Business, Purchasing, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow actions and tasks through with little supervision.
  • Experience working as a contributing team member on cross-functional and multi-national teams.
