About the position
The Supply Chain Systems Analyst at The Chefs' Warehouse is responsible for supporting existing operations and assisting with implementation projects. The role requires experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Demand Planning Tools, and Project Management. The analyst will work closely with business teams to identify system needs, create functional designs, and ensure the successful deployment of enhancements and projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the implementation/upgrade team on development requests and prepare estimates and timelines.
- Document complex business requirements and assess functional solution options.
- Configure the environment to test options and complete functional specifications.
- Work with the development team to ensure understanding of functional design and test final business solutions.
- Ensure all program changes have been tested and approved before promoting to production.
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects from both technology and business process perspectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or Supply Chain.
- 3-5 years' experience with project implementations, including application upgrades or rollouts.
- 3-5 years' experience with major warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues.
- 3 years of experience writing functional specifications for business enhancements and reports.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Purchasing and other Supply Chain modules.
- Familiarity with advanced setup for facility systems configuration and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with functional areas including finance, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, and logistics.
