About the position

The Materials Management Technician plays a crucial role in the supply chain by managing supply activities, ensuring that necessary materials are available and organized within the healthcare facility. This position involves monitoring inventory levels, delivering supplies, and maintaining storage areas to support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Check par levels of specified areas
• Deliver supplies to replenish par levels
• Fill and deliver requisition requests
• Replenish Code Carts
• Key activities into the Purchasing Inventory System
• Assist in receiving, tagging, and stocking supplies in designated storage areas
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all storage areas

Requirements

• Experience in supply chain management or materials management
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Ability to lift and move supplies as needed
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment
• Basic computer skills
