About the position

The Supply Chain Tech II position at Trinity Health involves performing daily Supply Chain Management duties to support acute and ambulatory care departments. The technician will also maintain computer-based support systems and engage in effective communication to meet customer needs while adhering to organizational standards and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Supply Chain Management duties related to the acquisition and distribution of goods.
  • Support and maintain computer-based support systems for operational availability.
  • Oversee staff and collaborate with department managers to manage operations effectively.
  • Participate in performance management and review processes.
  • Implement departmental plans and priorities as identified by leaders.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and assignments.
  • Review and approve administrative functions such as time and payroll.
  • Steward the productive use of resources to achieve commitments and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders to address operational issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to complete additional education, training, and competency tests as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or distribution environment.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite.
