About the position
The Supply Chain Technician plays a crucial role in managing supply activities within a healthcare setting. This part-time position involves ensuring that necessary medical supplies are available and properly stocked, which directly supports the delivery of quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Check par levels of specified areas
- Deliver supplies to replenish par levels
- Fill and deliver requisition requests
- Replenish Code Carts
- Key activities into the Purchasing Inventory System
- Assist in receiving, tagging, and stocking supplies in designated storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all storage areas
Requirements
- Two (2) years of Supply Chain and/or Medical Supplies Buyer experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
- Advanced mathematical ability related to healthcare inventory (i.e. cc, mg) and bulk distribution and inventory calculations
- Understanding of the correlation between Supply Chain Technician functions and quality patient care
