About the position

The Supply Chain Technician at CHRISTUS Health is responsible for managing inventory control tasks, including scanning products, picking orders, and restocking supplies. This role is crucial in ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently within the hospital's various departments, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize scanning technology for par locations.
  • Cycle counting and physical inventory counting as directed.
  • Order picking and packing including documentation.
  • Restocking pars and inventories.
  • Unit rounding, processing, and distributing supplies in a timely manner.
  • Basic understanding of product numbers and unit of measure.
  • Ability to check expiration dates and maintain clean and orderly stocking areas.
  • Ability to ensure a compliant ready state in all assigned areas.
  • Perform tasks in INFOR (ERP System) appropriately including transactions in Par Specialist, Warehouse Clerk, and Mobile Supply Chain Mgmt.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
  • None Required.
