About the position
The Inventory Control Specialist at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline is responsible for managing inventory tasks, including scanning products, picking orders, and restocking supplies. This role is crucial in maintaining the hospital's supply chain efficiency and ensuring that all inventory locations are organized and compliant. The position requires effective communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to utilize technology for inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Utilize scanning technology for par locations.
- Cycle counting and physical inventory counting as directed.
- Order picking and packing including documentation.
- Restocking pars and inventories.
- Unit rounding, processing, and distributing supplies in a timely manner.
- Check expiration dates and maintain clean and orderly stocking areas.
- Ensure a compliant ready state in all assigned areas.
- Perform tasks in INFOR (ERP System) appropriately including transactions in Par Specialist, Warehouse Clerk, and Mobile Supply Chain Management.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
