About the position

The Supply Chain Technician role involves managing and maintaining the database for a computerized MRP system, ensuring accurate item master data, inventory records, and bill of material data. This position supports production planning and purchasing by providing timely inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain the database for the computerized MRP system.
• Populate the database with accurate item master data, item location data, bill of material data, and routing data.
• Monitor and update inventory records to reflect current stock levels and locations.
• Provide accurate and timely inventory data to support production planning, purchasing, and other relevant departments.

Requirements

• Previous experience and work history in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Understanding of how product lifecycle works
• Attention to detail
• Bill of Materials experience and creating BOM's in ERP systems
• Technical drawing reading experience
• Experience with determining packaging scopes of projects
• Analyzing and interpreting automated and manual documents and specifications
• Setting up and maintaining Master Data records in SAP systems.
