About the position

The Supply Chain Technician at HCA Healthcare plays a vital role in ensuring that all supplies are received, distributed, and maintained efficiently within the facility. This position is essential for supporting the overall patient experience by ensuring that medical professionals have the necessary supplies at their disposal. The technician is responsible for receiving and keying in supplies, maintaining safety stock levels, and conducting physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) areas according to a defined schedule. The role requires a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in delivering supplies, which includes the transportation of legend drugs and other medical supplies as authorized. In this role, the Supply Chain Technician will deliver supplies accurately and promptly, ensuring that all items are placed in their proper locations. They will be responsible for receiving expedited deliveries and accurately entering this information into the SMART system, which is crucial for inventory management.
