About The Position
Reporting to the Supply & Demand Planning Manager, the Supply & Demand Planner will support inventory planning and demand forecasting for a couple of our large imprints. This role assists our Planning Manager by reviewing key inventory and sales reports to aid HBG's print decisions and inventory maintenance, while working closely with Publishing Groups, Manufacturing, Sales, Fulfillment, and Warehouse Operations to support the diverse range of authors, titles, and publishing divisions at Hachette Book Group, a leading US trade book publisher. This is a NYC based role. Please note our current hybrid model is two days per week in the office. Effective in January 2025, HBG's hybrid model will be 3 days in-office, 2 days working from home.
