About the position

The Supply Demand Planner will join the Service and Logistics team within the Supply Chain Organization of one of the largest networking companies globally. This role focuses on sourcing, replenishing, and balancing inventory levels to meet customer demands and business requirements. The planner will utilize demand planning software to maintain inventory, identify shortages, and expedite orders as necessary. Collaboration with global partners and participation in projects from leadership are also key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, source, and stock inventory levels to meet customer demand and business requirements.
• Utilize demand planning software to manage inventory effectively.
• Identify potential shortages and place expedite orders to mitigate risks.
• Adhere to budget targets and perform root cause analysis for inventory issues.
• Manage escalations from customer support to find solutions for unavailable inventory.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with global partners on demand planning solutions.
• Participate in projects and initiatives as required by leadership.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Demand Planning.
• 5+ years of experience within Service Supply Chain at an enterprise level.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with planning software in a service environment.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams globally.
• Strong customer service skills.
