About the position

The Supply & Demand Planner at SEB Professional North America is responsible for leading and developing the Supply & Demand Planning processes to ensure optimal S&OP, superior demand forecasting, ideal stock levels, and high customer service levels while minimizing costs and complexity. This role involves active analysis and communication of KPIs to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply & Demand Planning for SEB Professional North America.
• Ensure optimal S&OP process and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast.
• Participate in monthly Demand review/S&OP meetings.
• Assist in early identification of gaps in the business plan and implement countermeasures.
• Ensure stock availability and provide reliable ETA to internal stakeholders.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders and track inbound shipments.
• Manage master data and escalations regarding stock availability with suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Demand Manager to achieve KPIs and propose continuous improvement actions.
• Manage safety stock, lead-times, and customer/supplier collaboration to ensure stock availability.
• Develop action plans for managing obsolete and slow-moving stock.
• Manage the product life cycle in cooperation with product development and central teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain preferred, but experience can substitute for a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a planning role.
• Strong sense of urgency and customer-centricity.
• Strategic long-term vision with the ability to take calculated risks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial and business awareness.
• Team player with a LEAN mindset.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP.
