About the position

The Supply Depot Administrator (SDA) at Airbus Helicopters is a key role within the Material Management Team, responsible for managing the reconciliation, monitoring, and expediting of orders to support the U.S. Army's Pilot Training School at Fort Novosel, AL. This position involves conducting warehouse operations, ensuring accountability of inventory, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to support and services. The role operates on a third shift schedule, from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, interpret, and process all purchase orders in the customer's parts management software and SAP.
  • Reconcile and update the status of all customer purchase orders and coordinate deliveries with warehouses and subcontractors.
  • Monitor demand activity to identify trends and enhance stocked inventory.
  • Organize and prioritize material issues by sales order type to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide expedite options and freight shipment recommendations to meet operational demands.
  • Coordinate with CSR colleagues, Program Logistic Liaisons, and Tech Support Team to ensure timely processing of customer orders.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience in logistics or technical support areas.
  • An airframe and power plants (A&P) License can substitute for three years' experience.
  • Additional computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • 2-3 years SAP experience preferred, especially in Sales & Distribution, Customer Service, or Procurement.
  • At least one year of experience in the helicopter/aviation industry is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes.
