About the position
The Supply Fulfillment Specialist position at Optum is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of medical supply orders, inventory management, and various administrative tasks. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that supplies are processed correctly and that stock levels are maintained through regular inventory checks. The position requires flexibility in working hours and involves physical tasks such as loading and unloading shipments.
Responsibilities
- Generate daily work orders as assigned
- Create work order shipping labels from UPS WorldShip
- Accurately fulfill all medical supply orders as indicated on work order
- Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments
- Assist with inventory put away and space management within the warehouse
- Conduct inventory counting processes as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Dependable personal transportation to ensure consistent attendance
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal correspondence
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm
