About the position

The Supply Chain Planner at ASR Group plays a crucial role in the analytics and support of the supply plan, specifically tailored to the regional footprint of the company. This position is integral to driving Continuous Improvement initiatives alongside the Logistics and Operations teams. Under the guidance of the Category Planning Manager, the Supply Chain Planner is responsible for mid to long-term supply planning, ensuring that all mission-critical duties are executed effectively. The individual will manage project and task assignments related to Supply Planning within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, while also supporting key performance indicators (KPIs) and scorecard metrics. Regularly, the planner will conduct ad-hoc capacity and materials planning analyses to optimize supply chain operations. In this role, the Supply Chain Planner will utilize various tools, including SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Excel, to gather and analyze sales data, assess production performance, and perform capacity analyses. The planner will support and execute planning responsibilities for their designated categories, aiming to meet service, cost, and inventory targets. Additionally, the planner will contribute to the development of executive summaries and KPIs within the S&OP process, as well as assist in creating 13-week and 18-month supply plans. The individual will take ownership of action items that arise from the S&OP cycle and lead root-cause analyses to address any demand or supply performance gaps. Furthermore, the planner will conduct analyses and provide recommendations aimed at reducing supply chain costs and fostering continuous improvement. The role also involves supporting master data for production planning, which includes managing new finished goods requests through Master Data Governance (MDG) and coordinating activities related to data cleanup and correction. The Supply Chain Planner will support deployment across various regions or members as necessary, evaluate slow-moving and excess inventories, and implement appropriate corrective actions. Additionally, the planner may serve as a backup for other members of the Planning Team, including taking on Category Planning Manager-level duties on an ad-hoc basis.
