About the position

As a Supply Risk Analyst, Cyber Security Lead at Ford Motor Company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security of our supply chain. This position is designed to proactively address and mitigate cyber security risks associated with both direct and indirect suppliers. You will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing a comprehensive cyber security risk strategy that aligns with Ford's broader supply chain objectives. Your work will involve assessing the cyber security posture of our suppliers, understanding their business continuity plans, and prioritizing them based on their risk profiles and potential impact on our operations. In this role, you will lead the deployment of an annual supplier cyber security assessment strategy, which includes surveying the supply base to uncover vulnerabilities and ensuring that suppliers are prepared for potential cyber threats. You will also research industry-wide activities and best practices to inform your strategies and engage with various teams to support supplier compliance and risk management efforts. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional executive leadership will be essential as you prepare and present project health updates and key performance indicators (KPIs) for 2024. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex data sets. You will need to demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of annual supplier cyber security assessment strategy.
  • Understand Ford's exposure to cyber security risk in our supply base.
  • Survey the supply base to uncover cyber security risk and understand supplier business continuity plans and preparedness.
  • Prioritize suppliers based on their cyber risk profile, business criticality, and potential impact on operations.
  • Research industry-wide activity and best practices related to cyber security risk.
  • Lead engagements with direct and indirect teams to support supplier compliance and cyber risk management.
  • Support the Third Party Risk Management team in remediation efforts for direct and indirect suppliers.
  • Support the development and incorporation of cyber security risk metrics into supply chain digital tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Cyber Third Party Risk Management, OGC, IT Purchasing to ensure alignment and drive risk management priorities.
  • Prepare and communicate project health, timing, and delivery status to cross-functional executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related areas.
  • Understanding of the broader supply chain landscape.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
